Southern Oregon Goodwill
Southern Oregon Goodwill Industries used a $200,000 grant from Meyer Memorial Trust in 2007 to help build a new retail store and training facility in White City. The new building, located on a busy thoroughfare, is changing the perception of Goodwill and drawing new customers. The retail operation is the primary source of funding for the organization's workforce development program that serves veterans, people in welfare to work or vocational rehabilitation programs and people with developmental, physical or emotional disabilities.
