Jackson Street Youth Shelter
Meyer Memorial Trust awarded $150,000 in 2007 to help Jackson Street Youth Shelter in Corvallis purchase and renovate a house into a comfortable and caring place for young people without homes. Besides providing youth with basic needs like a bed, food, and showers, adults at the shelter help them develop life and problem solving skills that will help keep them safe. Education support keeps youth connected to school. Photo credit: Cassandra Weber
