Housecall Providers
From 2000 to 2010, Housecall Providers used $310,000 in grants from Meyer Memorial Trust to support primary medical care housecalls to thousands of homebound seniors and people with disabilities throughout the Portland metro area. In 2010 alone, 1,395 people were seen in 10,502 housecalls. Bringing primary care to the people who need it helps patients stay in the community, avoiding nursing home placements and emergency room visits.
