Tony and Ann Kischner financed Bridgewater Bistro, their riverfront dining establishment in Astoria, through Enterprise Cascadia, creating jobs for 27 local residents.

Enterprise Cascadia, also known as Shorebank Enterprise Group Pacific, has used $1.25 million of program related investment loans and $705,000 in grants from Meyer Memorial Trust to provide loans and technical assistance to support small businesses, promote economic development, and develop community facilities in rural communities throughout Oregon and southwest Washington.  Enterprise Cascadia's reach is extensive – direct loans to small businesses, work with Tribes to build their financial lending capabilities, consulting on New Markets Tax Credits' projects, and collaboration with conservation organizations to preserve land, among others.
