Deschutes River Conservancy
Deschutes River Conservancy is dedicated to restoring stream flows and improving water quality throughout the Deschutes Basin, an area that covers about 10,700 square miles, making it the second largest watershed in Oregon. Dechutes River Conservancy used a $230,000 program related investment loan to replace and install pipes and concrete lines in irrigation canals and lateral diversions to decrease water leakage and transfer water rights to permanent instream use in the middle stretch of the Deschutes River.
