What I do at MMT:

I split my time between work as a Program Officer and helping to implement MMT's Willamette River Initiative.
What was your life experience before you came to MMT and how does it contribute to your work at MMT?

After receiving my Bachelor's degree in environmental conservation from the University of Colorado, I spent two years in Peace Corps in Bulgaria working with a student-led environmental NGO.  When I returned to the states, I completed my Master's degree in public affairs at Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

My work experience includes seven years as the program officer for conservation at the Flintridge Foundation and a year a half as the Oregon field representative for the National Forest Foundation, the Forest Service's nonprofit partner.

What high school did you attend?

Grand Junction High School - Grand Junction, Colorado

When you graduated from high school, what did you want to be?
Out of High School
How long did you follow that plan, where did it lead?
Pretty much until today. I think it's going pretty well.
If I met my high school self, I would say:
Don't be afraid.
What were your favorite extracurricular activities in high school? What did you do for fun?
Sports, skiing, moping around the house listening to my portable music device.
What was your favorite music to listen to?
Whatever was on the radio, which wasn't much in GJ, plus some hair metal (Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Def Leppard), and some 80's standards (Smiths, Devo).
Complete this sentence: In high school, among my classmates I was most likely to...
Lose my keys.
