What I do at MMT:

I provide general administrative assistance, tech support for staff, as well as being the lead for safety and sustainability initiatives in the office. My favorite duty is Other Duties As Assigned.
What was your life experience before you came to MMT and how does it contribute to your work at MMT?

Before working at MMT I did some sales. Some travel. More sales. Then some data and facilities management. Followed by a longer than expected stint as a bellman. I finally landed in the non-profit world as an Executive Assistant, and briefly in Marketing & PR. Outside of work, I spend as many weekends camping as possible. For the other 9 months of the year I think about new dutch oven recipes to try once camping season gets fired back up.

What high school did you attend?

Bellarmine College Prep

When you graduated from high school, what did you want to be?
High powered executive, rolling in lavish riches much like Scrooge McDuck in the opening credits of the greatly underestimated animated series, "Duck Tales"
How long did you follow that plan, where did it lead?
Not for long, but in the end I'm not a duck in a blazer, top hat and no pants, so I have that going for me.
If I met my high school self, I would say:
[You] don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. [You] don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, [you] don't want to do that. -Lloyd Dobler. I would naturally follow this up with a suggestion to look into Kickboxing, sport of the future.
What were your favorite extracurricular activities in high school? What did you do for fun?
In high school I did some hanging around, playing games that others didn't understand. Examples include slow walking contests, tape ball (similar to bocce, but you know, with tape balls). Most of my time was spent rollerblading. Don't judge me. It was the 90's, and EVERYONE was doing it. Whenever I find pictures of me rollerblading I'm shocked by the awkwardness of my youth, yet at the same time can totally remember thinking: 'Sweet, that got captured on film! I've never looked this cool before, so that was a good time to snap a picture of me.'
What was your favorite music to listen to?
High school music was all about nor-cal hip-hop, Too-Short, Digital Underground, Tupac, RBL Posse, JT the Bigga Figga, etc. There were many others, but I lost much of my archive when I made a rash decision about an old box of "mix tapes" that I found at some point. It was classic, I had two twelve inch subwoofers in the trunk of my '87 Camry, ridiculously amped. All you could hear were rattles as the car shook itself apart whenever I had the amp switched on. Did I already mention the rollerblading? Clearly, I was popular.
Complete this sentence: In high school, among my classmates I was most likely to...
...complain about sucka MC's.
You don't know me unless you know this about me:
I was once a part of a group called Team Dork, whose motto was: Promoting dork pride, worldwide.
