What I do at MMT:
I keep Meyer's computers, servers, network and website running. I also help other Meyer staff with any technology related issue.
What was your life experience before you came to MMT and how does it contribute to your work at MMT?
Before becoming IT manager, systems administrator and programmer at MMT, I had 15 years experience in making computers, networks, and technical people play well with others. I enjoy cryptic Unix commands, writing unreadable regular expression statements and long walks on the beach. Educated in music performance at Pacific University, I also have an unfortunate tendency to listen to obscure 16th century composers and an even more unfortunate tendency to want to tell you about it. I am unusually fond of basset hounds, and have two of them that are probably napping on my couch right now.

When you graduated from high school, what did you want to be?
Employed!
How long did you follow that plan, where did it lead?
Am still employed, so I can't complain.

What were your favorite extracurricular activities in high school? What did you do for fun?
Music and drama. I was an arts nerd, this was before I became a computer nerd.
What was your favorite music to listen to?
Depeche Mode, Yaz, Charlie Parker and Bach.
