The Grassroots Grants program was developed to level the playing field for smaller organizations (usually without development departments) so they could compete for grants from the Trust. Under this program, grants of $500 to $15,000 allow the Trust to assist a large number of worthy organizations through support of small projects that are of special importance to applicants and their communities. A number of examples of previously funded Grassroots Grants projects are included here.
The deadlines for the Grassroots Grants Program are March 15, July 15, and October 15th. The Grassroots Grants Program accepts proposals through an online application only. We no longer accept printed proposals. The online application form is available one month before each application deadline.
