Responsive Grants

By far the largest share of the dollars the Trust awards each year is made under the Responsive Grants program. Responsive Grants support projects related to arts and humanities, education, health, social welfare, community development, the environment and a variety of other activities. Proposals may be submitted at any time under this program, and there are no limitations on the size or duration of these grants. A number of examples of previously funded Responsive Grant projects are included here.

Capital requests of $200,000 or more are considered for final action twice a year, at the March and September meetings.

Responsive Grants Program applicants need the Responsive Grants Program Grant Application Guidelines.
