MMT encourages nonprofit organizations to raise public awareness about their work. Receiving funds from a foundation can provide a newsworthy opportunity to do so. It is not necessary to get MMT's approval to announce our award, as long as you characterize the award as it appears in your grant agreement and you make clear that Meyer Memorial Trust is a private foundation that is not connected to Fred Meyer Inc.
