We're Going Live!

We're Going Live!

We've been working feverishly behind the scenes to come up with a way to livestream our Communicating for Good gathering on Thursday, July 19, so folks in other parts of Oregon can virtually attend.

The good news: We have come up with a solution! The first speaker will begin at 9 am, so you should connect before then.

The other news: This will actually be our first attempt using this technology with multiple users in a live environment, so we hope you will be forgiving if there are problems. Please test the link before the event begins to see if you get any warnings. For example, when I just checked, I got a warning to turn off the Firebug Firefox extension because it might cause problems. Here's the link.

The other good news: We will be videotaping the session and will put it on our website afterward so you will be able to see it later if you miss the livestream.

Here is the link, which temporarily has a "webcast hasn't started yet" message in the window. Please test the link now to make sure you can see it!

Comunicating for Good Video link

Any idea when the webcast video will be up and available, and where the link will be available? I was dropped out and when it reconnected the cast started over from the beginning, so I was cut off once the cast was ended and missed the last 30 minutes. Thanks for the info!

A few minutes

You just have to keep watching. The stream starts when you visit the link above, but it startes from when we started recording, which was about 5 minutes before the first speaker starts. We will be recutting a video on all this, so stay tuned.

joining remotely

Thank you so much for setting this up. Saves me 10 hours of driving. Do we need to let you know if we are now joining you this way rather than in "person".
Thank you so much, Sue
