w00t! It's Safe To Go Out Now
I have a feeling many of us have spent a lot more time indoors than we hoped as we slogged our way through this exceedingly long and cold and wet spring. Maybe you've found solace in front of a sun lamp, maybe you've energized yourself with extra cups of coffee, maybe you've cultivated that hobby you've been eyeing for a while.
I've been consoling myself with quilting, watching the storms pass through and the rain come down while discovering new shades of grey through the window next to my sewing machine. But have you noticed that, in the past few weeks, more color is emerging? When leaves begin appearing on the neighbor's copper beech tree, I know our patience will finally be rewarded with sun and warmth.
This week's news will reward the patience of many:

That's all I have time for today, I'm heading outside... my dear hubby added a little deck beside our little pond in our little backyard and those little chairs look waaaay too empty. I hope you'll join me in the great Oregon outdoors.
