MMT Gets a Makeover

MMT Gets a Makeover

Today we launch our first new website in five years! That's several millenia in Internet time. No wonder we're excited!

We built it all with you in mind, so we hope you'll make yourselves right at home. You can start your tour on the homepage, of course.

We've combined all the information about our funding programs in the APPLY section of the site, so if want to cut to the chase and quickly apply for a grant or loan or who qualifies for initiative funding, that's where you'll head. If you want to get to know us better, thinking you'll be able to craft a stronger proposal if you know more about who we are, what we do and why and how we do it, you'll want to spend some time in the LEARN section. We've also included some additional things you might want to know about applying and our expectations of applicants and grantees there as well. If you want to go further with us, keeping in touch more frequently, conversing, contributing to our understanding of your issues and areas, hearing more about what goes on here, you'll surely want to hang out in our CONNECT space.

Or you can head directly to CEO Doug Stamm's new blog post that forecasts what MMT will be doing in the way of funding over the coming year.

Or you can begin by checking out the grants we made in March.

If you'd like to know the story behind our new site, we offer that up as well.

We have a whole lot of new content on our new site, much of it directed at meeting the highest accountability and transparency standards for foundations.

We also have made more and better ways for you to interact with us... You can comment on blogs, raise topics or add thoughts to forums, submit photos of your organization's work, and so on. Soon you'll be able to search a database of all the awards we've ever made.

We hope to see you here often. And we can't wait to hear what you think...and that's no April fooling.

– Marie
