Latest MMT Grants

At the February program meeting, Meyer Memorial Trust's board of trustees made more than $3.2 million in grants and a program-related investment loan to 43 tax-exempt organizations in Oregon and Clark County, Washington.

This month Meyer Memorial Trust awarded more than $7 million to 21 nonprofit organizations across Oregon. Most of the awards were grants totaling $3.925 million, while two were program-related investment loans amounting to $3.094 million.

At our September program meeeting, MMT trustees awarded 19 grants for more than $3.1 million dollars to nonprofit organizations across Oregon.Eight of the awards worth nearly $1.8 million went to arts and culture organizations in Portland (7) and Eugene (1). We have been grouping consideration of support to Portland area large budget arts organizations since 2009 to help them achieve financial stability (read more about this practice here).

This month Meyer Memorial Trust made 80 awards for more than $3.4 million to nonprofit organizations in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. More than three-fourths of the grants (and just over $1 million) were made under MMT's Grassroots Grants program, which provides key support to projects important to smaller nonprofits and/or communities.These awards bring the total amount funded by MMT since it began operating in 1982 to nearly $535 million.All June awards are listed below, grouped by funding program:

At the December program meeting, Meyer Memorial Trust's board of trustees awarded more than $5 million in 44 grants to nonprofit organizations in Oregon. In addition to its ongoing Responsive Grants program, a number of the awards were made under special programs to help meet emergency needs in the community and support core operations in organizations challenged by the continuing effects of the Great Recession.These awards bring the total MMT has granted since it began operating in 1982 to more than $517.7 million.December grants included:

At the October program meeting, trustees of Meyer Memorial Trust awarded more than $2.8 million to 55 organizations in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. These awards bring the total amount granted since MMT began operating in 1982 to more than $510 million.

At the July program meeting, Meyer Memorial Trust's board of trustees made 21 awards for $2,567,551, bringing the total amount awarded since MMT began operating in 1982 to more than $505.3 million.The July grants included a total of $285,000 in follow-up operating support to seven organizations who were awarded funds in our 2009 Operating Support program.  July awards included:
