On March 2nd I had the pleasure of joining Sally Yee on a Two-Way-Street Tour (TWST). The meeting was a collaboration between MMT and the Black United Fund of Oregon and was hosted at Portland Housing Center’s offices in Northeast Portland. We are often asked how many applications we receive, how many are approved, and what the awards were for. So, to supplement Marie's monthly award announcements, I thought I'd provide some statistics on grants made through our Responsive Grants and Grassroots Grants programs in MMT's most recent fiscal year (April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011).

Many people have asked me about Meyer Memorial Trust's GrantIS software – a database and online application system that we designed to process grant requests and awards. They want to know the what/when/why/how details and what we learned along the way.
