Two-Way Street Tour Heads to Southeast Oregon
Meyer Memorial Trust will hold four community meetings in southeastern Oregon's Harney and Malheur counties from Monday, May 24, through Wednesday, May 26, 2010 as part of its Two-Way Street Tours across Oregon and Clark County, Washington. MMT Program Officers Sally Yee and Kim Thomas will appear at these events to provide advice about seeking grants from Meyer Memorial Trust and to collect information about the needs of nonprofits and communities in southeast Oregon.
The Two Way Street Tour (TWST) program began in 2007 to increase MMT's outreach efforts to help nonprofit organizations better understand the foundation and its programs as well as to help MMT learn more about the communities and organizations it serves. By April 2010, MMT staff had held meetings in 53 communities in 22 counties through Oregon and southwest Washington.
