TWST Coming to Deschutes & Jefferson counties
We want to hear from area nonprofits and community members about issues important to your communities and answer your questions about applying to Meyer Memorial Trust for grant funding. Grants Monitor Maddelyn High will join me at the meetings.
The TWST program began in 2007 to increase MMT's outreach efforts to help nonprofit organizations better understand the foundation and its programs as well as to help MMT learn more about the communities and organizations it serves.
Because Meyer Memorial Trust is located in Portland, we have been conducting a series of tours across the state to help it better understand needs and requests for grants from all parts of Oregon and SW Washington. Through April 2012, MMT staff had held meetings in 68 communities in 30 counties through Oregon and southwest Washington. We reported on our past visits on our TWST blog.
