What I do at the Meyer Trust:

I process proposals, run statistical reports, and manage the database.

What is your favorite word?

Yes

What sound do you love?

Wind rustling bamboo

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?

Yes! (not--Yes?)

Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?

Atticus Finch, Shan Tao Yun, Elvis Cole, Archie Goodwin, Travis Magee, Doc Ford, Peter Decker, Porfiry Rostnikov (hmmm...no favorite female fictional heroes)

What is your present state of mind?

Alert and focused (when I'm present)

What is your motto?

Fall down seven times, stand up eight (can a proverb be a motto?)

If you won $100 million in the lottery tomorrow, who or what would you give the first 100K to?

Well I'd consult my best friend/spouse/partner but my first impulse is SOMETHING FUN! But maybe I'd be sensible and put it away for the kiddies college fund. And I know for sure there are worthy causes and good people doing great work to assuage human suffering, which of course conveys the image I'd want to cultivate if I won a $100 million lottery.

What musician would you most like to see perform in your living room?

Either Mose Allison or Edgar Meyer

What is your secret ambition?

To have time to listen to the muse when it's talking so I don't miss that beautiful moment when I might do something creative (inspired by a quote from Rick Bartow)
