What I do at the Meyer Trust:

I helped design - and now I manage- the Trust's Willamette River Initiative.

What is your favorite word?

Fluvial geomorphology (okay, that's two, but I like them more together than apart.)

What sound do you love?

The wind rising through pines in the backcountry.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?

"Nice haircut!"

Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?

Atticus Finch (and Scout), Anna Pigeon, Jody Baxter, Susan Burling Ward, Babar.

What is your present state of mind?

Slightly frazzled (another favorite word).

What is your motto?

Remember who you are.

If you won $100 million in the lottery tomorrow, who or what would you give the first 100K to?

Sadly, at this point I'm pretty sure all that money would go to my kids' college educations.....

What musician would you most like to see perform in your living room?

Johnny Cash

What is your secret ambition?

To earn a PdD in geography.
