What I do at the Meyer Trust:

As a program officer, I learn about issues facing communities, applicants, and opportunities for positive impact and MMT investment. I also organize the work of the Program Team and coordinate our work with that of other MMT departments.

What is your favorite word?

Namaste. One interpretation: the light within me honors the light within you.

What sound do you love?

The “whoosh, whoosh, whoosh” of a bird’s wings in the quietness of the woods.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?

Welcome to enlightenment!

Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?

Atticus Finch, The Wonder Twins (70s version), Robin Hood, and Little Miss Sunshine’s Olive are few that come to mind.

What is your present state of mind?

Cautiously optimistic

What is your motto?

Depends on the moment . . . “You can ding my door but you can’t dent the tranquility in my heart” (lifted from an old Starbuck’s ad) and “Be true to yourself” are two.

If you won $100 million in the lottery tomorrow, who or what would you give the first 100K to?

Pretty sure Uncle Sam would stake claim to that honor. . .

What musician would you most like to see perform in your living room?

Lyle Lovett

What is your secret ambition?

To see the world.
