Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved.
— Jane Goodall

Amy is driven by a passion to solve complex problems and a commitment to make a difference in communities across Oregon.

A third generation Oregonian, Amy brings extensive experience in business, communications and a legacy of mission-driven service to Meyer’s board of trustees.

"We are a far distance from ensuring opportunities for everyone in Oregon. I want to help all Oregonians thrive and work to improve the outlook for future generations.”

A leader in the telecommunications industry for 34 years, Amy began her career with Home Box Office (HBO) in Chicago and New York before taking over as president and CEO of BendBroadband, a family-owned cable and broadband company based in Central Oregon.

Her retirement opened a new chapter of community service. Amy has loaned her talents to numerous regional and statewide nonprofit organizations. She currently serves on the boards of Oregon Public Broadcasting and The Nature Conservancy—Montana. She is the managing trustee of the Tykeson Family Foundation — which focuses on healthcare and health sciences, increasing access to the arts and supporting educational opportunities for underserved young people.

Amy joined Meyer’s trustees in July 2020.
